The Tonsing family collection contains a variety of documents relating to the Tonsing family in Atchison, Kansas. The records show family history, their relation to Amelia Erhart, their relations to Governor John A. Martin; and their leadership in the Lutheran Church. The majority of the collection was compiled by Dr. Ernst F. Tonsing, Lutheran Reverend and retired professor. A small portion was donated by Evan Tonsing. The records include: letter from Dr. Ernst F. Tonsing, April 27, 1999, regarding information about the Martin-Tonsing house in Atchison, T.L.S.; Obituary of Rev.
